Child Mental Health Counselor

In-Office, Full Time

The Center for Family Development (CFFD) is looking to hire a child mental health counselor with a flexible start date between May and July.

You are a fully licensed LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) or an associate with (or nearing) one year of post-Masters experience. New associates with previous work experience with children will also be considered.

We are open to a wide range of established therapeutic modalities. Work as a contractor or as a full time employee with benefits.

CFFD is a clinician founded, group private practice grounded in the Spokane community for 20 years. We offer:

Requirements:

  • Masters or doctorate and a current Washington State license (PhD/PsyD, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC) or an associates license with one year of post masters experience. New associates with previous work experience with children will also be considered.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

  • Willing to see an average of 20-24 clients per week

  • Additional post masters training in one or more established therapeutic modalities

  • People with diverse life experiences and backgrounds will be given priority consideration

Couples Therapist

In-Office, Full or Part Time

The Center for Family Development (CFFD) is looking for one couples counselor interested in seeing 8-20+ couples per week as a contractor/1099 (65-72% DOE) or as an employee.
 

This is an ideal position for a therapist looking to add additional clients to their caseload or someone looking to work part time. A full time role with benefits is also possible.
 

We have a long waitlist and a steady stream of referrals. Choose which clients you work with and when you work. We offer end-to-end billing, credentialing, and office support. You focus on your clients, we'll handle the rest.
 

Requirements:

  • Masters or doctorate and a current Washington State license (PhD/PsyD, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC) or an associates license with one year of post masters experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

  • At least one year of prior couples counseling experience

  • We are open to a range of established therapeutic modalities, but training or experience in at least one couples-focused method, such as EFT or Gottman, is required.

  • People with diverse life experiences and backgrounds will be given priority consideration
